Our impact

Healthcare careers for the Philadelphians who need them most.

Who we serve, where we work, and the partners who make fully funded training possible.

Our Mission

ATS Professional Development Inc. exists to create opportunity for people who need career development. We remove the financial and systemic barriers in the way, start every participant with the professional skills that make training stick, and carry them through to a credential and a job that improves their quality of life.

Our Vision

A Philadelphia where every resident has access to the skills, credentials, and connections needed to build an economically stable career.

Our values
  • AccessibilityWe design every program assuming the participant is starting from zero — no prior healthcare experience, no savings for tuition, no safety net.
  • CredibilityOur training partners prepare participants for the same industry credentials that employers require. No shortcuts, no certificates of participation — real credentials.
  • PurposefulnessEvery program decision is tied to an outcome: a job, a credential, a career. We measure what matters.
  • TrustworthinessWe are transparent with participants, funders, and partners about what we offer, what we track, and what we are still building.
Who we serve

The communities behind every seat

Our participants are Philadelphia residents who are ready to work and need a real way in. Cost is often what stands in the way, so we take it off the table.

Young adults starting out

Many of our participants are in their late teens and twenties, looking for a first career rather than another short-term job.

Unemployed & underemployed residents

Philadelphians who are ready to work but shut out of better-paying jobs by the cost of training and the credentials employers require.

Working adults changing careers

People moving into healthcare from other fields, with evening, hybrid, and weekend options so training can fit around a job and family.

People starting from zero

No healthcare background, no savings for tuition, no safety net. Training is fully funded and every program assumes no prior experience.
